DC Court Overturns Handgun Ban

Generally speaking, I want this blog to remain focused mostly on New Hampshire related issues and topics. However, this decision is good for gun owners across the country (or at least I hope it will be if SCOTUS ends up ruling in our favor in a future appeal). It’s stuff like this that gives me hope that eventually we will our fight against those who would restrict or remove our rights as gun owners.

It also shows how powerful the choices we make for president are as the ideological make-up of our courts is so dependant on who the president is. Makes me even more aware that my vote in 2008 really does matter and that I must take great care in who I end up voting for, particularly in the primary.
