Candy Tax in New Hampshire?
Bruce has some choice words at No Looking Backwards for an amazingly stupid attempt by a Democrat to put a gigantic tax on candy.
No, I’m not kidding. This is for real. And it’s mind-blowingly dumb.
Note to politicians and voters who move to New Hampshire from other states or countries: If you want taxes and a nanny state please move south to Taxachusetts! You’ll get all the taxes, nanny state laws, gun grabbing and every other bit of socialist nastiness you will ever want.
Just leave New Hampshire alone. We don’t want it here and we won’t accept it.

Jim, mark my words. The reason this bill, as written, is so fantastically idiotic is so that when she proposes a simpler sales tax on candy, it will see, to many sadly, to be the “common sense” “compromise”.
And the brainless amongst us will be like “Whew! That’s MUCH better!”
Fuck these people and the donkeys they rode in on.
