State Senate Passes Lynch’s Amendment

Ugh. Well let’s hope we can kill it in the House.

Lynch’s campaign for a constitutional amendment on education funding passed an important hurdle yesterday, as the Senate approved it by the necessary three-fifths majority.

The vote was partisan, with all 14 Senate Democrats and just one Republican, Sen. Bob Odell of Lempster, supporting it. The Senate’s nine other Republicans voted against the amendment.

Drop your representative an email and/or call them. Let them know you want this thing stopped in the House.
