The NRA and Nanny Michael Bloomberg aka "Tentacles"

Amusing story of how the NRA covered Bloomberg’s assault on the 2nd amendment in its “America’s First Freedom” magazine. I get that mag and I loved the cover. Priceless! They labelled him Tentacles. Very appropriate.

“Tentacles!” shouts the headline over a cartoon illustration of Mr. Bloomberg depicting him as a giant octopus, looking fierce and slightly insane, with serpentine arms swirling behind him. Inside are a main article, two sidebars and a column devoted to the idea that Mr. Bloomberg, as the cover puts it, is extending “his reach, and his illegal antigun tactics, across America.”

“Beholden to nothing except his own ambitions, the mayor has established himself as a kind of national gun-control vigilante,” writes James O. E. Norell, identified as a contributing editor. Calling the national coalition a “cabal,” Mr. Norell adds: “Bloomberg’s tentacles reach throughout the country to foist N.Y.C.-style gun control on you, your friends and neighbors.”

But they should have put a picture of Mumbles Menino in there too as his sidekick. Mumbles could have been designated “flounder” as that’s a pretty apt nickname for him since he’s an intellectual dwarf and bottom feeder that can only follow in the wake of Nanny Bloomberg.

Of course, the NY Slimes being the NY Slimes, they have to give Bloomberg’s PR mouthpiece the last word in the article. Ugh. What absolute liars and phonies Bloomberg and his cronies are. I loathe them and it’s one of the reasons I won’t set foot in NY City unless I absolutely have to, that place is run like a mini-leftist-police state. Nanny Bloomberg is a hypocritical piece of elitist trash who bought the office of mayor.

I have some news for you, Tentacles, the 2nd amendment was here long before you arrived and it’ll be here long after you’re gone, no matter how much money or power you have. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it, you statist turd.
