Right on Alan, I could not agree more. The idea that the police can protect all of us is just silly. Doesn’t matter how good cops they are, they simply can’t be everywhere at once. Quite a lot of antis (usually leftists) don’t seem to understand that.
We are all responsible for our own self-protection. Buying and owning (and carrying) guns is one of the best ways to do that.
