Damn the Groundhog!
Well I’ve been going back to the field I found him in but there’s no sign of him above ground at all. I’ve tried to vary the times I go there so as to catch him above ground. But he’s just not around.
Maybe the hawks in the area got him? There’s usually four or five of them that seem to hunt those fields a lot. Or maybe he’s just too damn smart.
You can’t get away little groundhog…someday you’ll be above ground and I’ll be there waiting. Count on it, you little punk!
