Turkey Hunting Day 4: Nothing Interesting to Report

Well another day with no turkeys. I went up to the spot I found yesterday and froze my gonads off this morning but didn’t see or hear any birds. I left after about two hours and headed over to Milford. Bumped into two guys fishing and they recommended Jaffrey and that area so I took a ride over there and found some possibilities.

I’ll tell you this…scouting is key for turkey hunting! You must find good spots to hunt in and preferably find where the turkeys roost. If you can find where they roost at dusk then you can be there to nail them the next morning.

Aaaah well, I’m still learning a lot this season so it’s all good. :)
