The Turkey Murder Has Been Solved!
Okay, guys. I have an update on this. The fish and game guy came and looked at the turkey.
I jumped the gun.
The turkey had been “breasted” and then dumped there (the edible breast meat had been removed for eating). So whoever took it probably did so legally but did not dispose of it properly. Nor did they make use of the leg meat, which I find irritating.
My inexperience was showing on this as I did not even think to look for that.
So the mystery is solved. Sorry for jumping the gun.
I hope whoever dumped him there doesn’t do it again though as it still makes us look bad to non-hunters, who would probably make the same mistake I did.
