Smoking Ban: Property Rights Violation Begins in September

Governor John Lynch’s violation of property rights begins in September. At that point all smoking in bars and restaurants will be “banned.”

For those who think the issue is now closed. Guess again. We’re seeing creeping incrementalism in action. They’ll start with this and then smoking will be banned within 20 feet of a building then they will move to ban it from beaches and finally they will attempt to ban it from cars and in people’s homes.

Nanny state socialists like John Lynch will stop at nothing to destroy liberty in New Hampshire. Remember that when you vote in 2008. And I say that as a non-smoker who chooses not to patronize bars and restaurants that allow smoking. The owner of the establishment has a right to allow smoking. If I or an employee doesn’t like it, we can go elsewhere and that’s my choice.

Too bad that John Lynch and his nanny state minions in Concord don’t see it that way.

2008 can’t get here fast enough.
