Okay, we have a masshole bubble head of a republican behind this apparently.

A Salem lawmaker is behind a proposal to raise the pay for New Hampshire legislators, currently the lowest paid in the country.

Republican Rep. Anthony DiFruscia is the prime sponsor of a proposed constitutional amendment that would raise state legislators pay from $100 a year plus mileage to $100 a week plus mileage. Constitutional amendments must win three-fifths support in the House and Senate to go before voters. Two-thirds of voters must approve for an amendment to take effect.

Anyone with half a brain knows where this would lead us…eventually right into a Massachusetts style “full time” legislator situation where these people would actually get paid to sit around and do nothing but come up with more laws and more rules and more regulations that New Hampshire doesn’t need.

Please take a moment to send Anthony a polite note telling him to can this idea or perhaps he should move BACK to Taxachusetts where he’d be much more at home. It appears he does business there so perhaps a move BACK to communism might work out well for him.

Somebody from the New Hampshire Republican party should give this guy a tap on the shoulder and let him know that the party doesn’t support moving in the direction of Massachusetts style government.

If you are in this guys county (Rockingham 04) be sure to get a hold of him and read him the riot act.
