My sons and I attended the first session and it was enjoyable and informative. Dale is an excellent host. He and his buddies project alot of passion for the sport. From the Fish and Game perspective the point is to have smart, safe fisherman who understand and respect the law and the environment. It was clear the Dale and Co. also want to share their great enthusiasm for the sport.
I attended the second session this past Saturday and again it was very well done. It went at a nice pace for the youngsters with some nice tid bits and tips for us older fisherman thrown to keep it interesting. Next week we go fishing, I can’t wait. Thanks Dale, Pete and John for a great program.
We’ll my sons and I met Dale and his friends at Otter Lake at 9:00 am Saturday and we had a terrific day. WE caught a 2.8 lb Large Mouth, in adition to some big Pickeral and several Yellow Perch and a nice Smallie. The Kids had a great time. We cooked the fish right out there on the ice. It was delicious. All-in-all it was a great progam. Now my kids are bugging me to gear up and get going. If this comes around and you get the opportunity to attend. Don’t hesitate to do it.
