The New Hampshire Primary
Well I’m glad it’s over with. Looks like it’s McCain for the pubbies and Hillary for the dems (though that might change as the night progresses). Hillary’s crocodile tears seem to have done the trick for her so it looks like she’ll go on to the rest of the primaries.
As far as McCain goes, I really do not like him. His assault on the first amendment with “campaign finance” (otherwise known as the incumbent protection act) and some of his other decisions have led me to believe that he’s not much more than a RINO at best.
Plus – and I hate to be ageist here but it’s got to be said – I think he’s a little bit too old to be president. He’s already 70 and God bless him, I hope he lives to be 100 but I don’t think it’s a good idea to take office at that age. And I think him standing on a stage with Hillary or Obama would really look bad.
As far as Romney goes, I wouldn’t count him out. He’s got the money to roll on until the last primary and I think he’ll do just that.
I wish Fred Thompson well too. I think he just got started way too late here in New Hampshire so let’s hope he does well in some of the other states.

Umm you do know Romney is up on Huckabee 30 to 21 right?
Actually I think it’s the reverse, Derek.
