Why John McCain Sucks On 2nd Amendment Rights
The Gun Owners Action League has a good roundup on why John McCain sucks on issues gun owners care about.

I am prepared to hold my nose and vote for him should he be the nominee (Hillary and Obama would be even worse than McCain) but I will not do so gladly and if I were John McCain, I’d be sending STRONG SIGNALS to the gun community that you will NOT sign a single piece of gun-control legislation including a renewed AWB. If he’s not even willing to do that then I think some gun owners might stay home in the general election and let McCain go down in flames.

If McCain will not make reliable, unequivocal representations to protect second amendment rights, we should concentrate efforts on congressional elections, particularly the House, where a majority can be obtained that will not give in to anti gun laws.
