Cabela’s in Hooksett…Bah!

More bloviating from Cabela’s about opening a store in Hooksett.

Cabela’s is “very interested” in a Hooksett location, according to a spokesman for the Nebraska-based sporting goods retailer, despite never announcing a store opening here and backing off plans to build until at least 2010.

“It’s an area that we’re very interested in, and we know it’s a great area for the outdoors,” said John Castillo of Cabela’s. “Obviously, we are looking and continue to look in that area, and there continue to be discussions.”

At this point I’m sick of hearing about it. If it isn’t Hooksett dragging its feet, it’s Cabela’s.

Shit or get off the pot! Open a store or shut up and stop talking about it! I wish Bass Pro would come into New Hampshire instead, screw Cabela’s and I wish Bass Pro would put their store some place besides Hooksett.
