Turkey Scouting 2008 Day 2: No Birds
Didn’t see a thing. Not even a feather last night. Darn it.
It’s a bit depressing when you are out there, walking around with a crow call and trying to see if a gobbler in/around the woods/field will respond with a gobble. All I got was the sound of silence last night.
Where are the gobblers? I would love to know…
And Bruce don’t you dare post a “5000 gobblers just ran through my backyard” post either! Some of us have to go out and look for birds, we can’t just sit on our back deck and watch 10,000 turkeys waddle by. Damn you. :(
