The Brilliance of John McCain

Is it me or is anybody else picking up on McCain’s brilliant strategery?

The Messiah is busy attacking McCain’s VP pick while McCain himself floats above the fray. Meanwhile the obamabots in the press, blogs and online discussion forums have been so blatantly partisan and so outrageously vicious that they have united the base of the republican party around Sarah Palin in a way that hasn’t been done in years.

McCain is brilliant. He didn’t just pick Sarah for her qualities and experience (though those are laudable and I can’t wait to vote for the ticket), he set a trap with this pick. And the Messiah and his minions have fallen into it.

Strategery at its finest and I must say that I am enjoying watching all of it happen. Heh, heh.
