To Ski or Not To Ski? That Is the Question…

I’m toying with taking a skiing lesson but I’m still holding off. I had considered going to Pat’s Peak but haven’t as it would cost about $80 and I’m not sure skiing would really be much fun. I’m not one to zoom around as I tend to be more sedate.

But I hate to go through life and not try things like that. I also have snowboarding in mind.

Are you a skier? How did you get into the sport? And how do you like it? Do you find it particularly expensive? Have you ever been injured while skiing? What are some of the hazards to watch out for?

I have played skiing video games and they did seem rather fun, including one I played at the arcade where you stand on the fake skis and lean left or right to steer yourself down a hill. I suppose it’s not quite the same thing but, hey, it’s as close as I’ve ever gotten.
