About Free New Hampshire

Welcome! Free New Hampshire is a blog about life in the Live Free or Die state of New Hampshire. I was born in Rhode Island and lived most of my life in Massachusetts. After the 2006 election I realized that I could not live in Massachusetts any more.

Once upon a time Massachusetts was a fine state to live in but it has become a quasi-socialist nightmare. The state is dominated by corrupt politicians, thuggish unions and socialist voters that just can’t get enough government to rule their lives.

It’s very sad to see what has become of Massachusetts over the last 20 years or so. Unfortunately the situation down there is only going to get worse, it’s never going to change or get better. The people of Massachusetts have only themselves to blame. They have driven out most conservative/libertarian types and they mindlessly vote for Democrats at each election.

Despite doing this, the Massachusetts voters constantly complain about the condition of their state and how much they pay in taxes. No, it doesn’t make any sense but don’t try to tell a Massachusetts voter that. Chances are that his/her family have always been Democrats and that’s that.

All I can say is that I wish the residents of Massachusetts well in their self-created socialist hellhole. They have exactly the kind of government and quality of life that they voted for.

As for me, I’m happy in New Hampshire. Live Free or Die indeed! :)
